Where is my order?
We will send you an email once your order has been made in our UK factory which will include the tracking number. We use TNT express as our preferred delivery service which provides you with next day delivery! www.tnt.com 

Do you offer free samples?
We offer a free sampling service, so that you can view your chosen fabrics before deciding which you would like to purchase. You will find the “Free Sample” button on all of our product pages, and you will be able to select up to 5 different samples. Our free sampling service is limited to 5 samples per customer, however, if you require any more than this, please get into contact with our sales team, who will be more than happy to accommodate to your needs.


What is pattern matching?
We offer pattern matching on our products. This is something to consider if you have multiple blinds / curtains in the same window or room. We pattern match our curtains and blinds by centralizing the pattern from the top of the fabric. We are unable to match fabric like you would wallpaper. For more information on this please contact our sales team who can guide you.

 

What are the delivery times?
We operate at a 10 working day lead time for most of our products, once your order has been confirmed you will receive a delivery date. Busy periods or out of stock fabrics can extend lead times slightly but you will always be emailed your delivery date so you know exactly when your order will arrive. Wooden blinds can have a slightly longer lead time than roller and roman blinds of between 10-20 working days


How environmentally friendly is Sewing House?
We have a number of initiatives to help keep Sewing House as environmentally friendly as possible. We continue to look at how we operate and strive for constant improvement on our carbon footprint. We currently recycle all paper and cardboard and our packaging is 100% recyclable. We turn fabric offcuts from orders into samples and have more and more designs that are sustainably sourced. How blackout are your blinds?
All our blackout blinds are perfectly blackout so no light will come through any of the stitching. You will get some light around the edges if your blind is fitted inside the window recess. For the best blackout option we recommend choosing the outside recess fitting where possible.

 

What is the difference between inside recess blinds and outside recess blinds?
Inside recess size is when you want a blind to fit inside the window recess. Please provide us with the exact wall to wall & sill to ceiling measurements with no reductions. We will do that for you so that the blinds fit perfectly inside those measurements.

Outside recess blinds is used when you want the blind to sit outside of the window recess. For this fitting option you should provide the exact measurements you want the blind to be and we will make it to those exact sizes. Outside recess fitting blinds provide a greater level of blackout so we recommend this option when possible.

Can I change where I want my order delivered to after placing the order?
Yes you can. If you decide an alternative address would suit you better, email or call one of our sales team to change the address of your order. Tel: 0155 983 7636 or email sales@sewinghouse.co.uk


Where do you deliver to?
For orders over £100 we deliver to all addresses within mainland UK free of charge. For orders under £100 we deliver to all addresses within mainland UK for £5.99. Free samples are sent free of charge. If you live outside these locations please contact our sales advisors for a quotation

How is my order delivered?
Every product is individually wrapped (apart from cushions!) to best protect our products. Our main courier used is TNT but we also use DX and Tuffnells. All orders are sent on a next day delivery service. Please note that all deliveries will be made between Monday-Friday. If you require Saturday Delivery please contact our sales team and we can quote this for you!

 

Do I get notified of dispatch?
Yes you do. Once your order has been made you will be notified via email with the tracking number. If you have been given your tracking number, you can track your order by clicking this link www.tnt.com

Does Sewing House make the products?
Yes, all curtains, roman blinds, roller blinds and cushions are made here in our Nottinghamshire based workroom. By keeping manufacturing in house we have full control on our quality control and can offer competitive rates.
