Ian Mankin’s Suffolk Large Gingham Check Flax is a charming 1-inch check pattern woven in warming neutral tones. This classic design enhances Ivory and Natural colour schemes with added depth and visual interest. Ideal for both made to measure curtains and roman blinds, this versatile fabric brings a timeless touch of elegance and warmth to any interior.
Our roman blinds are UK made to your measurements. There are 4 types of lining available with light dimming standard lining, perfect blackout lining with no light through the stitching, thermal lining helping retain heat and bonded interlining which adds body, fullness and insulation.
Standard lining is designed to filter the harsh glare of the sun and provides a softer light into your room creating a more tranquil setting.
Blackout Lining
Blackout lining provides perfect blackout so you will not see any light through the stitching. This option is ideal for bedrooms and will help you get the perfect nights deep sleep.
Blackout Interlining
Blackout bonded interlining will add body and weight creating a fuller and luxurious look. Interlining is added to our blackout lining so your blinds will be fully blackout and noise reducing, whilst being heat-insulating too.
Thermal Lining
Stay cosy year-round and save on heating with this thermal-lined option, designed to insulate your room while offering dim-out properties (though not fully blackout).

Fitting Option
Measuring Blinds
There a are 2 options when measuring for a blind:
1. Inside Recess Fitting
This is the measurement you need for when you want the blind to fit inside the recess
We just need measurement a to b for the width and c to d for the height
We would advise measuring in 3 places for both the width (a to b) and the drop (c to d) and using the smallest measurement
Don’t make any deductions to your measurements, we will do this for you after you’ve ordered by taking 1cm off your given width which will ensure the perfect fitting of your blind
If you want the blinds making to an exact size please tick the outside recess fitting option as we then make to the exact sizes you provided.
2. Outside Recess Fitting
This is the measurement you need for when you want the blind to fit outside your window recess. The measurement you take here is the exact size you want the blind to be made to
Measuring the width (e to f) we recommend 7cm wider each side of the window to help minimize outside light.
Measuring the height (g to h) we recommend 10cm above and below if there is no obstacles in the way.
